I’ve shared many a granola or granola-related recipe since starting my grainfreee.com blog and my personal journey to wellness (which eventually turned into the SCD diet). Granola has a special place in my heart, being one of the first things I actually “baked” for myself when I first went gluten free- before being grain free was even a thought in my mind. Granola was essentially my gateway into the world of grain free and refined sugar free baking.

Since having to eliminate all grains, gluten, refined sugar, most dairy,  and basically a whole lot of (if not all) pre-packaged/ready-made grocery store goods, I’ve had a vision for a granola slash cereal brand that would cater to those of us who have long lists of dietary restrictions. I wanted something that was minimal in both its ingredients list and its processing, something that was still so delicious you would want to snack it on by the handful dry out of the bag– but it would work well with some fresh nut milk and berries, or else on top of a probiotic-filled yogurt bowl.

The result; after many, many moons of toying with the idea and many, many months of testing various granola-slash-cereal creations (because yes, it ticks both boxes), not to mention, feeding them to my friends and family; is earth to rose.

earth to rose is the type of product I wish I could find on grocery store shelves, the type of thing I know my previous self (aka the one who used to eat sugary or pseudo-healthy cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner) would fiend over. The first flavour I’m releasing is cinnamon raisin coconut crunch cereal. It’s is a highly snack-able cinnamon cereal that’s sweetened just enough with honey, and packed with raisins so it’s unavoidable to get a raisin, if not a medjool date, in every bite (my pet peeve was forever a raisin bran cereal without enough raisins to truly satisfy). It’s also a granola that’s nut-free, as it’s made only with coconut flakes and shredded coconut (both unsweetened, of course), dairy free (perhaps duh) as well as oil free.

Also, do not fear, this does not mean I will no longer be sharing my favourite granola or cereal recipes on my site – cause I definitely still will!! But, I also know how life gets (!) and if you want to save yourself some time and hassle, there is nothing more satisfying than a ready-made bag of granola or cereal.

Find the ingredient list and nutrition facts for earth to rose below, including all the ingredients I am using in the first flavour, any allergen alerts to be weary of.
