sweet & salty pistachio pecan granola

the perfect balance of sweet and salty on this addictive granola containing pistachios, pecans and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted or softened
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  • chop up all your nuts finely and throw them into a large bowl.
  • toss the nuts with the salt and cinnamon until covered.
  • add in your wet ingredients, ending with the egg white.
  • combine well.
  • spread the granola mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking tray. pat down with a spatula and spread to the edges of the baking sheet.
  • bake in a preheated oven at 330 for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • allow to cool completely before breaking the granola into chunks.
