yalllll this one was really satisfying, there’s something about adding tzatziki to a salad that brings it from 0 to 100 realll quick. and the rice was just plain white rice, with some leftover chicken i shredded off the bone. also i really treated myself here to a HALF an avocado like budget who??? i don’t know her🙅‍♀️💸

i love doing tzatziki homemade cuz it’s actually so easy, you can really eyeball it using yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, fresh dill, salt and pepper, but if you want a specific recipe i have one on my site i can dm you so just comment below!

idk who needs to hear this but 

‼️salads do not need to be boring!!!!‼️

i tried oven baked crispy rice for my salad again and it turned out better than last time, this time i gave it a bit of spice with some crushed red chilli pepper flakes as well as a bit of honey alongside the tamari and toasted sesame seed oil. find the ingredient list below! 

i also included some rough measurements for the salad itself if you’re interested in replicating this one i can confirm it was a 10/10 salad in terms of flavour, size, ingredients 😎👌 as far as the salad dressing, i used left over dressing from my last daily salad video so if you want the recipe for the salad dressing just head to episode 6 which is also linked below🔗

save this one for your next salad🥗!! 

salad (approx - 1 big or 2 smaller salads):
1/2 - 1 cup chopped lettuce 
1 small carrot shredded
1/4-1/2 an avocado 
1 mini cucumber chopped 
a few stalks of broccoli chopped 
1 green onion chopped 
wild salmon or tuna (canned)
crispy rice, recipe below
salad dressing was the recipe in yesterdays post so feel free to go back and grab that too!

crispy rice:
1/4 cup tamari 
1/8 cup rice vinegar 
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper chilli flakes 
1 cup of rice, cooked (day old is good, i did fresh cuz i didn’t have any old rice lol)

mix all sauce ingredients together in small bowl
spread rice across baking sheet lined w parchment paper and toss in sauce
bake at 425 for 20 mins, remove from oven and mix it around on tray, turn up oven to 435 and bake for another 15 mins, until golden brown and crispy. 
add to your salad while it’s still hot!

these are the perfect sweet but still kinda healthy treat for valentines day! and no baking required, they’re low effort, just cut open a medjool date, shape it into a heart and lay it flat and then stuff it with pb, roasted nuts and a quick homemade jam - for the “jam” all i did was mash up 1/2 cup of blackberries w 1 tbsp of honey. top w melted chocolate - i used refined sugar free dark chocolate from @hukitchen. freeze and enjoy💘💘💘you cannot go wrong these are soooo good.

you guys i actually have a salad dressing recipe to share below, which is the same recipe i used for this big salad, so it’ll make enough for one or two really big salads or a several (at least) days worth of small salads. just fyi! this is just a variation of what i always do for my salads, i don’t always include dijon or balsamic vinegar but it does make it that much better 🤞🥗

i shared this salad w my baby daddy and we had it with a side of left over chicken which i reheated in the oven (pro tip) (if i had an air fryer or toaster oven i would use that too). never reheat chicken in the microwave 😭it just makes it soggy lol.

🥗my daily salad 🥗 is back and smaller than ever lol jk but actually this salad was just a bit too small?? all the ingredients were good, and i would make it again but i would double it in size. when you’re just eating a salad for lunch (or dinner) it needs to be BIG, or at least, very filling, cuz i ate this salad and was still hungry after 🥲 here’s what i put in it for reference:

romaine lettuce

fried halloumi
fresh parsley 

i don’t have precise measurements but do what feels right!!! and clearly you don’t want my measurements anyways because it was a salad for a literal baby!!!
